I’m happy to say Michelle and I have worked things out since yesterday and things are peaceful here again.

As an aside, Michelle tried to reply to my previous entry and discovered that she wasn’t able to do so. I looked into it and discovered it was because of a spam comment fix I’d put in place some time ago. Apparently nobody had been able to comment since then. I backed it out (and in the process upgraded to the latest Movable Type) and now everything’s working again. I tried implementing a couple different spam comment fixes, both of which also ended up doing nothing other than generating error messages when trying to add a comment, so I took them out too.
